This weekend I was voted by my peers as the JCI Kootenay Chapter, Jaycee of the Year. Jaycee of the Year is awarded to the Jaycee who best exemplifies the total Jaycee concept through all areas. This Jaycee should be the person in the chapter who has contributed the most to their local community, their chapter, and the Kootenay Jaycees for the Jaycee year. This is a total honor. JCI is such a great organization for young professionals. You really do get out of it what you put into it. I look forward to putting Covid behind us and traveling with my Chapter friends, and doing more good work in our community.
